PAIA Manual

SENTINEL by ST NUBIAN · Last updated 2 September 2026

1. Introduction

This manual is published in terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA) and describes the records of SENTINEL by ST NUBIAN and how to request access to them.

2. The body

SENTINEL by ST NUBIAN, Johannesburg, South Africa. Electronic correspondence: demo@sentinel.novosense.africa. The registered legal entity name, registration number and physical address will be published here in the final manual, and are available from the Information Officer on request.

3. Records held

As a provider of compliance monitoring software, we hold: our own corporate records (company, financial and contractual documents); records about the service we provide; and, as an operator, the call recordings, transcriptions and findings that our customers instruct us to process. Personal information within those customer records belongs to the customer as responsible party — requests for it must be directed to the relevant debt collection agency, which we will identify for you if needed.

4. How to request access

A request must be made on the prescribed form (Form 2 of the PAIA regulations), identify the records sought and the requester’s right of access, and state the form in which access is required. Requests may be sent to the Information Officer at demo@sentinel.novosense.africa with “PAIA request” in the subject line.

The request fee is prescribed by regulation. We will notify you of the fee and any further deposit or search fees before processing. Decisions are given within thirty days, subject to lawful extension, and may be appealed as PAIA provides.

5. Grounds for refusal

Access may be refused on the grounds in Chapter 4 of PAIA, including the protection of third-party personal information, commercial confidentiality, and records held on behalf of another body.

6. Remedies

A requester or third party aggrieved by a decision may apply to a court within the periods PAIA provides, or may complain to the Information Regulator, whose contact details are published at informationregulator.org.za.
